Chapter One:[]
I heard Maria gasp from the other end of the phone, "You're kidding right? That's not even funny."
"I know it's not funny. I'll miss you. But we can still see eachother in summer, y'know."
"But...." Mairia seemed lost for words, "I just can't believe it! Boarding school! Oh Cami, I'll miss you so much..."
"I'll miss you too Maria." I said, even though I was getting annoyed with her.
"It just seems so unlike your parnets to randomly decide to send you to a weird boarding school, so far away."
I sighed. I hadn't liked lieing to Maira, but what else was I meant to do? I had to keep the secret from normal people. "I know..I was surprised too. I'll write to you okay?"
"Well, do you want to go shopping Saterday? As a goodbye thing?"
I cringed, "I...can't. I'm really sorry Maria, but I have to go buy supplies for Boarding school on Saterday."
I hung up. Just now had I realized how much I'd miss my friends when I went off. At first, I had been too excited with the actual prospect of going. Now I realized I wouldn't know anybody there. My stomach churned.
I walked up the stairs to my room, closed the door, flung myself onto the bed, and pulled out the letter.
I begain reading for almost the eighth time today.
