This story is going to be about my character, Kelsey Fisher, being a first year at Hogwarts. I know, really original right?
My name is Kelsey Fisher. Most people may not believe it, but there is magic in this world. Actual magic, like the kind that witches and wizards use, not the fake stuff that magicians do. Well, I happen to be one of those people with magic. Yeah, I'm a witch. I've known that my whole life. My parents and siblings are witches and wizards too. I'm basically just going to flat-out tell you that this is the story of my first year at Hogwarts, a school for wizards and witches. I know what you are thinking, but it's more exciting than it sounds. You can judge that for yourself though.
My story starts with the day I recieved the letter. It was a beautiful Saturday morning in July. I woke up and climbed out of bed. There was something strange about today than any other day. I couldn't figure it out though. I opened the bedroom door and began to walk down the stairs. It was silent. The whole house was silent. That's what didn't seem right. The house was never quiet during the day when I was at home. I continued down the stairs to find everything almost completely normal. My mom was in the kitchen making breakfast with magic, my dad was reading the newspaper, my younger siblings were waiting patiently at the table for their breakfast.
"Why is it so quiet?" I asked.
My mother turned to look at me. She smiled and said, "Good morning, sweetie. I'm not real sure why we're all so quiet today. Why don't you go sit down at the table and wait a couple minutes until breakfast is ready."
"Ok," I said as I walked over to the table and sat down. Just then an owl swooped through an open window and dropped a letter in front of me. Then it flew away back out the window.
I've been really busy lately so I don't have as much time to write. So, I will be working on this slowly, but I will get to finish it eventually. Please don't delete this story. Even if I'm not on here for a couple weeks doesn't mean that I don't want to work on this story. It just means I'm busy and I don't have time. Thanks! I am the Daughter of Poseidon. Isn’t that awesome?! 21:18, November 25, 2011 (UTC)
